Science professionals giving presentations in public spaces play a critical role in society to build trust in institutions, improve STEM literacy, and develop presenters’ communication skills. Often, these Science Cafe or Science on Tap programs lack the infrastructure, support, or capacity to appropriately evaluate their impact in the community.
